What are you currently working on?
I just finished a self portrait. I think I'm going to work on a couple abstract pieces where the human body is somewhat distorted and I think this last painting that I did was the start to that series.
Who are your current favorite artists/artists that influence you?
Kehinde Wiley, Kadir Nelson, Takashi Murakami, Distortedd.
How do you feel your art has been impacted during quarantine?
So far in the quarantine I've been able to finish 17 pieces. I think it's pretty good so far. I'm working on my 18th right now, so I think that's pretty good because most of the pieces I've worked on this year have been big pieces. Sizes range from 3ft x 4ft to 4ft x 5ft.
What are you looking forward to this semester?
I had messed up on my transcript so I wasn't able to transfer last semester and then covid-19 happened. Once covid-19 is over with I'm going back to school.
